Every year we are approached by several people from educational institutions doing their thesis on various subject matter that greatly involves parents of children with disabilities if we can share their survey with our families. Some of these studies even involve compensation or the ability to win something. Take a look at the surveys opportunities we've been offered below.
1st Opportunity:
2nd Opportunity:
Researchers from Wingate University would like to learn more about the school-based telehealth services you and your child received during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This survey should take you 20 minutes to complete. You do not have to take this survey, but it will help us with our research if you do. Please consider taking this survey if your child: 1. was receiving school based physical therapy services before the COVID-19 Pandemic; 2. received at least 10 hours of telehealth school based physical therapy services during the COVID-19 Pandemic; 3. received services that were live and not taped. If you have any questions about this survey, you can contact the primary researcher, Mary Swiggum, at (434) 221-0091. If you have any concerns about your privacy, your rights, or any issues related to your participation in this study, please contact Amie Naylor at [email protected]. Continuation of this survey signals that you consent to participating in this research. Here is the link to the survey: https://wingate.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0pIPkmR3M2YLV2d The survey will remain open until March 10, 2021. Thank you for your participation.
3rd Opportunity:
Survey link: https://redcap.vanderbilt.edu/surveys/?s=WXPHC39FMJ Survey information We have recently received Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval to conduct a survey study. As a result, we are currently seeking primary caregivers of individuals who have complex communication needs. The goal is to gather primary caregivers' perspectives on the training received (if any), to support and enhance their child's communication skills. By gathering information and variables that lead to positive and negative experience we hope to make recommendations and to outline key elements to minimize experiences that may be contributing to high levels of communication system abandonment and decrease the impact these systems may have on the family. The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential. Only the principal investigators will have access to the completed surveys. If you are willing to participate, click the link at the end of this email to access the consent form and please complete the survey entirely. For your convenience, we have set the survey so that you can stop and come back to it at any point (by clicking "save and return later"). REDCap will provide you with a unique code that you will need to enter in order to return to your survey, so please be sure to save that unique code. There is no compensation for participation in this survey; but we appreciate your time and willingness to help us learn from you. For your information, below we have provided some additional details on the study
Thank you for your willingness to consider participating in this project. Survey link: https://redcap.vanderbilt.edu/surveys/?s=WXPHC39FMJ
