Crystal Bridges has several fun (and free!) family and access programs coming up. This is for families in Northwest Arkansas.
Upcoming programs at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art are listed below: Ongoing: Drop-in Artmaking Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4pm Drop in Estes Studio every weekend between 1 and 4 p.m. for creative artmaking for all ages inspired by an artwork in the museum! Free, no registration required. Multisensory Saturday January 25, 11-2pm Explore art with all of your senses on this multisensory self-guided tour of the museum’s galleries facilitated by our access and inclusion department. Open for all! Free, no registration required. Family Sunday » I Heart Art February 9, 12-5pm Mark your calendars for our eighth annual I ♥ Art Family Sunday! Bring your loved ones to Crystal Bridges to enjoy performances, artmaking, valentines, creative play, gallery activities, and more for a Valentine’s-themed day. Don’t forget to pick up a paper heart in the lobby and show your love to your favorite artwork with #HeartsforArt! Free, no registration required. Family Access Night March 6, 6-8pm Family Access Night is a fun night out for families with children of all abilities to visit the museum. Youth with disabilities and their families participate in engaging activities including gallery tours, studio art activities, and performances by local entertainers. One District One Book March 8, 1-4pm Join us for a wrap-up celebration of the One District One Book reading program! ArtShare » Friday Night Fun April 3, 6-8pm ArtShare: Friday Night Fun is a fun event for youth with autism and their families where families explore the galleries, participate in hands-on activities, and create art together. Slow Art Day April 4, 11-6pm Crystal Bridges is joining museums around the world in celebration of Slow Art Day! This annual event, dedicated to slowing down, reflecting, and finding the joy in art, will feature special in-gallery activities designed to keep you focused on the art for 10 to 15 minutesㅡor longer! Come ready to spend quality time in the galleries with artworks from our permanent collection and celebrate the joy of looking together. Great for all ages!
